Recently some of our Year 7 students visited the Medina Masjid, Sheffield as part of our entitlement curriculum.
The RE department at Wickersley Partnership Trust believe that visits to places of worship are an important experience that will give students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of different beliefs beyond what we learn about in the classroom.
During the visit, our tour guide, Zahid, explained the different features of the Mosque and the daily life routines of a Muslim.
Our students had a fantastic time and we would like to thank Medina Masjid, Sheffield and Zahid, our tour guide for allowing us to visit. The next trip for Year 7 students will run on Wednesday 12th July.
