On Monday night, we were busy with the reintroduction of Canoeing club at Ulley. It was Y7’s turn, and they had a lot of fun paddling the rafted canoes before taking a dip in the lake at the end of the session. It has tied in really well with Outdoor Education week in the PE department. Several of our groups are having the opportunity to experience Canoeing in their PE lessons. It is great to see how much the students are enjoying this experience.
On top of that, the Y7/8 Boys Cricket team were involved in a thrilling match against Brinsworth. Unfortunately the Y9/10 game had to be postponed due to the weather but the 7/8 team did battle in the Sports hall at Cranworth Road. The team had a great time and were unfortunate to lose a very keenly contested game by 3 runs.
