Last Wednesday night we took our Year 10 boys to Dinnington for the Rotherham schools Futsal competition. ⚽
Against some strong opposition we more than held our own in some closely contested matches. Having narrowly lost the first game against Wath, we then went on a 4 game run of 3 wins and a draw. Aston interrupted our run with a 1-0 win before we finished with a 0-0 stalemate against Wales.
Our performance saw us finish an impressive 3rd out of the 8 teams who entered. We felt we had run it close as our best performance of the evening was a 3-2 win over eventual winners Wickersley. 👏
The boys were a credit to Clifton through both their performance and the manner in which they represented the school. Please pass on your congratulations when you see them:
