Josie Webster, WPT Careers Lead, said: “On Friday 1st December all Y11 students from across the Trust had their careers day. Whilst in school, students learnt about their post 16 options, CV writing and how to make great decisions. In addition all students attended a careers fair. The fair was host to around 50 post 16 providers, including colleges, apprenticeship and training providers. We also welcomed three universities We really appreciate the support of the local businesses and colleges as it makes such a huge difference to our students and helps them to think about careers they had never considered. The exhibitors were extremely impressed with the students who asked some great questions and showed real maturity throughout the day. It’s now time to start getting applications in and we would like to wish them well.”
