Y9 Faith Panel

Recently, the RE department at Clifton hosted their annual Faith Panel for Year 9 students. This highly anticipated event brought together representatives from a range of belief systems, including the Bahai Faith, Humanism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism.

The Faith Panel provided a unique opportunity for students to engage in meaningful discussions with faith and belief representatives, asking thoughtful questions and exploring the wide range of worldviews that make up our local and wider communities. Students particularly enjoyed interacting with the special religious artefacts brought in by the guests, which helped bring each tradition to life.

Events like this are a great reflection of the Wickersley Partnership Trust strategic priority to be an active part of the community. By creating inclusive opportunities for students to engage with people of different beliefs, we are helping to promote respect, empathy, and mutual understanding.

Both students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the rich diversity within our community.

A huge thank you goes out to all the speakers who generously gave their time to support our students’ learning.
