Yesterday marked the first day of our Year 8 Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA) experience days, with Form 8J kicking things off!
The group spent the day at Ulley Reservoir – one of Wickersley Partnership Trust’s external learning facilities, which provides all schools across the Trust with unique opportunities for outdoor learning, teamwork, and personal development.
The students threw themselves into a range of exciting activities designed to build confidence, resilience, and collaboration. From kayaking and climbing to team challenges, everyone gave 100% and made the most of the day.
Staff couldn’t praise the group highly enough, with one commenting:
“They have been absolutely amazing – a lovely and respectful group of students who represented Clifton exceptionally well.”
The instructors at Ulley echoed this praise, describing the students as “a breath of fresh air” for their outstanding behaviour and teamwork.
A huge well done to all involved, what a brilliant start to the Year 8 OAA experience days!
