Netball Success Against St Pius

This week, both our Y7&8 and Y9 Netball teams took on St Pius in their final games of the half term – and what a way to finish!

It was brilliant to see so many girls eager to play, rotate and support each other throughout the matches. The teamwork, determination and sportsmanship on display were outstanding across all year groups.

Our Y7&8s were absolutely brilliant – playing some beautiful passes, making amazing interceptions and scoring some fantastic goals. With 13 girls turning up to play, they worked well together and represented Clifton superbly. A special shoutout to our Y8 players – Rukayat, Sophie, Amelia and Zainab – who were fantastic with both the Clifton and St Pius Y7s.

St Pius have a lovely Y7 team and it was a pleasure to play against them. The final score saw Clifton take a 5-1 win!

Our Y9s also had a fantastic game, again showing brilliant teamwork and support for one another. It’s great to see so many girls representing themselves and Clifton so brilliantly.

The girls have come on leaps and bounds since September, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Well done, girls!
