As we came to the end of the term, it was wonderful to celebrate the achievements of our students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a series of awards assemblies.
We began with our Year 8 Awards Assembly, which gave us the opportunity to recognise the successes of students across a wide range of subjects. In addition to academic achievements, we celebrated awards from Form Tutors, the Attendance team, and those with the highest number of CFPs. Our biggest honours, the Head of Year Award and the Head Teacher’s Award, were presented to students who consistently make us proud. Congratulations to all our award winners, who demonstrate excellence and commitment on a daily basis.
We then held our Year 9 Awards Assembly, where again we celebrated achievements across subjects, as well as contributions in Form Tutor time. Attendance and CFPs were also recognised, and the most prestigious awards, the Head of Year Award and Head Teacher Award, were presented to outstanding students. Well done to everyone involved – your efforts and dedication are truly commendable.
On Tuesday 16th December, Year 10 celebrated their achievements for Half Term 2. Miss Smales and Mr Davis were delighted to see how the year group have settled into Key Stage 4 and embraced their GCSE subjects. Students were nominated for awards including outstanding effort, excellent attendance, top CFP earners, and of course the prestigious Head of Year and Head Teacher Awards. The year group are setting themselves up for great success, and the staff at Clifton thoroughly enjoy recognising and celebrating their accomplishments.
Finally, on Monday 15th December, Year 11 came together to celebrate their achievements this half term. Mr Warburton, Miss Walker, and Miss Minett are incredibly proud of the students’ hard work and dedication. Awards were given for effort, high standards, attendance, and CFPs, alongside the Head of Year and Head Teacher Awards. Special congratulations go to all Year 11 students for completing their mock exams this term – a major milestone in their GCSE journey. Enjoy a well-earned Christmas break with friends and family!
Here’s to an even more successful 2026 for all our students!
