County Lines Assembly

Clifton recently welcomed Christina Gabbitas, who delivered a series of powerful assemblies focused on county lines and child exploitation.

Using her publication ‘Trapped in County Lines’, alongside impactful animations created with the support of the police and the Police and Crime Commissioner, students gained a clear and engaging understanding of the risks young people can face. The sessions explored how exploitation can happen, the warning signs to look out for, and how to seek help.

The assemblies were age-appropriate and highly engaging, helping students understand a complex and serious topic through storytelling and real life scenarios. Feedback from both students and staff was extremely positive, with many highlighting the lasting impact of the messages shared.

This visit is part of Clifton’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding, ensuring all students are informed, aware, and able to stay safe.
