For almost 20 years, Clifton students have taken part in the University of Sheffield’s outreach programme, which aims to help young people understand more about Higher Education and raise their aspirations.
This year has been no exception. In April, after completing three years on the programme, our Year 11 students graduated at a special ceremony held at the Octagon.
Our new Year 9 cohort began their journey with two experience days at the University, alongside mentoring sessions in school. Meanwhile, our Year 10 students have recently completed their second year on the programme, enjoying an overnight residential at Endcliffe Village Halls of Residence and taking part in a wide range of activities.
We look forward to welcoming a new cohort of Year 9 students to the programme in the autumn. Well done to all of our participants!
