Recently, Year 8 enjoyed an educational visit to Sheffield, combining their Religious Education and Geography learning. The day began at the Guru Gobind Singh Gurdwara, where students were warmly welcomed by members of the Sikh community and taken on a guided tour. They learned more about Sikh beliefs, values, worship and traditions, helping them deepen their understanding of the religion.
Afterwards, students explored Sheffield city centre on an urban Geography field walk, putting their classroom learning into practice by observing the city environment. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to broaden their knowledge, gain first-hand experience and make meaningful connections between their subjects. Well done, everyone!
