We are proud to share that newly released national data confirms that Clifton Community School is now ranked among the most-improved secondary schools in the entire country across every major benchmark. Across all three performance metrics combined, our school has officially placed in the top 7% nationally for school improvement – and stands as Wickersley Partnership Trust’s most improved school this year.
Highlights include:
- Ranked 21st nationally for academic growth – out of thousands of secondary schools across England, our growth in overall achievement places us 21st nationally for improvement in Attainment 8 – putting CCS in the top 0.7% of all schools nationwide.
- Top 3.5% nationally for strong passes – the proportion of our students achieving a Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths saw remarkable growth, placing us in the top 3.5% nationally for improvement.
- Top 6.9% nationally for standard passes – our progress for students securing a Grade 4 or above in both core subjects ranks in the top 6.9% nationally.
These results reflect the daily commitment of our young people, the relentless dedication of our staff, and the strong support of our school and Trust community. Above all, they show what can be achieved when we work together. We are incredibly proud of our students’ hard work and look forward to building on this shared success as we continue supporting every child to leave us able and qualified to play their full part in an ever-changing world.
