On Wednesday 12th March, Y9 students at CCS joined a Futbolingo webinar, which explained the link between football as an industry and modern languages. Futbolingo works with footballers who are moving abroad for work.
Students listened to a talk, explaining the need for footballers to speak the language of the country they are playing in. They looked at aspects of football as an industry, such as player support, liaison, and media support. Students enjoyed the session, and they have more MFL careers webinars on the way, including one that covers combining languages and working for the government.
Great work, well done!
