Following his outstanding achievement in being awarded a Silver Award in the National Teaching Awards, Mr Bartle attended an exclusive celebratory event in London last week. The occasion – held in Pall Mall – recognised and honoured the exceptional contributions made by some of our country’s most inspiring education staff.
Mr Bartle, Assistant Headteacher at Clifton Community School, said: “It was a privilege to attend the Silver Winner’s afternoon tea at the Royal Automobile Club as part of Pearson’s National Teaching Awards. To be amongst so many inspiring people from all areas of education was a real honour.
“Being a Silver Winner would not be possible without working with so many amazing colleagues, children and other stakeholders – all of whom help to make Clifton Community School and Wickersley Partnership Trust what it is today.”
The next stage of the awards is going for Gold as he is now in the running to be awarded the ‘Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School’ award!
Once again, everyone at Clifton Community School and Wickersley Partnership Trust is extremely proud of Mr Bartle’s accomplishment and we wish him all the best as he continues to progress through the awards process.
