With the winter weather and darker evenings making outdoor football more challenging, our teams have recently moved indoors to play futsal. This fast-paced, sports hall game focuses on quick movement, sharp first touches and rapid passing.
Our Y7 and Y8 teams travelled to Oakwood for their fixtures in week two of the half term, with the Y9 and Y10 teams following the week after. All teams competed brilliantly, taking part in some exciting, high-scoring and closely contested matches, with both schools claiming victories across the fixtures.
Alongside the impressive skills and effort on display, there was some excellent sportsmanship shown in all four games. Our students demonstrated great teamwork throughout and represented the Clifton Way superbly. Well done to everyone involved!
