Over the past few months, students at Clifton Community School have been working hard alongside Miss Green to design, draw, decorate, paint, and varnish Patchy – our very own Clifton Cub. Every student had the opportunity to contribute a design, making Patchy a true reflection of the whole school community.
Patchy was ultimately designed and named by Y9 student Brandon. The cub represents the spirit of Clifton, bringing students together in one vibrant piece. Covered in symbols and drawings, Patchy celebrates the wide range of subjects on offer, alongside key elements of school identity such as the logo, Clifton tie, and the Wickersley Partnership Trust emblem.
A huge thank you goes to all the students who took part, with special mentions to Megan, Maizi W, Dorota, and Ruth for their contributions to drawing, painting, and varnishing the cub.
Yesterday, Patchy was proudly taken to Sheffield in preparation for the Pride of Sheffield Lion Trail, helping to raise money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
We look forward to spotting Patchy on the trail!
