Happy Retirement, Ms J Smith!

Yesterday, we said farewell to Jayne Smith – our school receptionist – as she retired after an incredible 23 years at Clifton.

Jayne’s journey with us began in the kitchen at Upper School Cranworth before she later joined the school office on the Middle Lane campus. Over the years, she became one of the most familiar faces in our school community.

For more than two decades, she has been at the heart of Clifton, supporting staff, students, parents and visitors with her friendly smile, calming nature and willingness to help. Whether welcoming people at reception or offering support behind the scenes, she has made a lasting difference to so many lives.

Her dedication, positivity and commitment have been a constant throughout the years, and she leaves with the gratitude and respect of everyone who has had the pleasure of working with her.

Thank you, Jayne, for everything you have contributed to our school. We wish you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement – you will be missed by all!
