Portraiture Art in Y9

This term, Year 9 students have been exploring portraiture, taking inspiration from the bold and expressive artwork of Françoise Nielly. They have experimented with vibrant colours, expressive brushstrokes and layering techniques to create striking painted eye studies.

By building up layers of paint, students have developed texture, depth and detail in their work, producing unique and expressive final pieces. Well done, Year 9!
