Last week, our Year 7 students visited Skills Street, an exciting interactive learning centre at Gulliver’s Valley in Rother Valley. Designed to introduce young people to the world of work, Skills Street gave students the opportunity to experience a range of careers, including construction with ESH, engineering with Gripple, healthcare with the NHS, and aviation in a specially designed departure area featuring part of a real Jet2 aircraft.
Throughout the visit, students developed valuable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and creativity while taking part in a range of hands-on activities. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we would like to thank the Skills Street team and our staff for helping to make the experience such a success.
