Recently, our Y7/8 Cricket Team finished the season in dramatic fashion, defeating a strong Oakwood side with just two balls to spare!
The team has improved with every match this season, and that progress was clear to see in an outstanding bowling and fielding display, restricting Oakwood to just 72 runs from 14 overs – their best performance in the field all year.
With the bat, the team remained calm and composed throughout the chase. Ayaan was the standout performer, retiring on 30 not out after an impressive innings packed with boundaries, before Sohail sealed the victory in style with a huge six.
A huge well done to the entire squad, who have represented the school brilliantly throughout the season with their commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship. You have all been a real credit to the school.
