Y6 Transition Taster Lessons

It’s been an extremely busy few weeks preparing Year 6 students ready for their move up to Clifton.

Over the last few weeks students in our feeder schools have been taking part in live science and PE lessons at our Cranworth Road site, and virtual lessons such as graffiti keyring making in DT, poetry portraits in English, History lessons and maths challenges.

Some smaller groups have also visited us to take part in music lessons, learning how to play the ukulele, food lessons, creating biscuit decorations and PE lessons too.

On Wednesday 9th June we also welcomed parents to have a look around our school and it was great to meet everyone and answer questions in

person. We are now looking forward to our transition day on 23rd June where our new students will spend the whole day with us experiencing life at Clifton and we know that although as always there will be a few nerves on that first day, from students and parents, you will soon become part of the Clifton family.
