Students from Year 9 visited Ulley on Monday evening to take part in Canoeing Club. We had 17 students present and all enjoyed a mixture of rafted canoes, closed kayaks and open canoes before having a dip at the end! The students showed the Clifton Way, demonstrating resilience and teamwork skills.
Extra-Curricular at Clifton got off to an excellent start at Ulley Canoe Club. Following the success of Monday’s Canoeing club, Tuesday was the Year 8 Extra-curricular evening at school.
Despite the threat of heavy rain, 24 Y8 pupils traveled to Ulley after school on Monday 17th May where they took part in group canoeing (with a lot of splashing while they were at it).
Canoeing club started with our Year 7 pupils visiting Ulley Country park on Monday 10th May. 16 pupils took part in some Canoeing challenges and enjoyed taking a dip in the lake at the end of the session.
